Cacao is a dark chcolate cake made using origin chocolates like Java and single origin chocolate like Madagascar. It is for chocolate lovers as the cake is not too sweet and brings out the real flavours of orgin chocolates. He has played with textures to give you the exact amount of crunch and silk. A pretty looking cake with bold flavours. The bottom most layer being a Chocolate Sable made with Almond flour, Cocoa Powder and hints of Cocoa Nibs. Placed above it is Dacquoise made made with almond flour for rich flavours and on top of it crumbs of French Biscuit. The crumb is covered with Single Origin Madagascar Chocolate Mousse. Topped with Java Chocolate Mousse. The cake has a dark chocolate collar and is garnished with croquant and some fresh flowers to highlight the bold chocolate colours. order #30125. It was the most horrible cake. Ridiculously the Flowers were artificial and not even edible. Caramel was extremely bitter. It was not tasting like dark chocolate at all. It was more like burnt sugar.
My guests were super disappointed. A very unpleasant experience, particularly when it’s coming as a chef’s special cake!! Sending such a cake to the nearest and dearest ones is the biggest mistake in life!! Spending such a huge amount for absolutely nothing! Pathetic experience and is absolutely not expected from OvenFresh which has been a Brand since so many years.
I have been ordering Oven Fresh cakes for more than a decade, but never had such a disgusting experience in my life!!!
